Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Comes Up Short

Holy Cross lost against St. Francis Prep back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Knights fell just short of the Terriers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Holy Cross have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Holy Cross and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for St. Francis Prep, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Floral Park Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on October 15. As for St. Francis Prep, they will square off against Monsignor McClancy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
