Baseball Recap: Gahr Gets the Win

The Gahr Gladiators beat the Crespi Celts 6-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.

Luis Alonzo tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Bryce Morrison was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Andres Gonzalez, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Gahr's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Crespi, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Gahr will head out on the road to face off against El Dorado at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crespi, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Orange Lutheran at 2:45 p.m.
