Loyd Star won the last time they faced Salem and things went their way on Thursday too. The Loyd Star Hornets really took it to the Salem Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-18 victory. That looming 48-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Hornets yet this season.

When it comes to explaining why Salem lost, don't look at Kira Bridges. Despite the final result, she posted three points and five steals. Bridges is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last nine games she's played.
