Baseball Recap: Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Comes Up Short

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Chalmette Owls, falling 15-1. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Owls from their previous meeting back in February of 2025.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Fulgham-Clay, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Benton Bruner was another, getting on base in both of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chalmette, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Franklinton at 6:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Chalmette, they will head out on the road to square off against Newman at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
