First Presbyterian Day won the last time they faced Covenant Academy and Gavin Wilson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Vikings claimed a resounding 76-48 win over the Rams with plenty of help from Wilson, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Covenant Academy still got an impressive performance from Blake Bartow, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Lucas Fisher, who earned six points and eight boards.

First Presbyterian Day has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, First Presbyterian Day will be playing in front of their home fans against Southland Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Covenant Academy, they will head out to square off against Windsor Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
