Basketball Recap: Valley Center Beats Andale for Their Fourth Straight Win + How To Watch

Valley Center won the last time they faced Andale and Nash Jamolod did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hornets managed a 44-40 win over the Indians on Friday with plenty of help from Jamolod, who shot 71% from the field on his way to 14 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Rylan Bailey also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Hunter Grimes, who posted eight points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Jack Horsch, who scored 15 points.

The victory keeps Valley Center at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 53.5 points this season. As for Andale, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Valley Center and Andale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Hornets will square off against rival Maize South at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Andale is set to take on their familiar foe Rose Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
