Volleyball Recap: South Salem Triumphs + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, South Salem rose to the challenge on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Sheldon Irish 3-2. The Saxons haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ellenia Setzer had an outrageously good game as she had 24 digs and one assist. Those 24 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Leah Ioane, who had nine digs.

South Salem's victory bumped their record up to 32-8-1. As for Sheldon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 27-6.

As of now, neither South Salem nor the Irish have any future games scheduled.
