Baseball Recap: Brewbaker Tech Comes Up Short

Brewbaker Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-8 to the Marbury Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 last Wednesday.

Brewbaker Tech saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chandler Ray, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Ray a new career-high.

Brewbaker Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Marbury, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

While Brewbaker Tech had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
