Basketball Recap: Palmetto Beats Ferguson for Their Third Straight Victory

Palmetto extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Santiago Henriquez. The Palmetto Panthers blew past the Ferguson Falcons 90-60 on Friday thanks in part to Henriquez, who went 15 for 25 on his way to 40 points and three steals. The matchup was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Samfree Sarante, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in January.

Palmetto's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ferguson, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Palmetto will take on Casteel in a holiday battle at at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Ferguson and Varela will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
