Basketball Game Preview: Jackson-Milton Bluejays vs. East Canton Hornets

The Jackson-Milton Bluejays will be taking part in a tournament against the East Canton Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Jackson-Milton came up short against McDonald and fell 44-36. The loss continues a trend for the Bluejays in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Despite their defeat, Jackson-Milton saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Emma Johns, who posted 13 points, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Nora Schwarten, who earned seven points along with eight boards and three steals.

Meanwhile, East Canton strolled past Claymont with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 51-36.

East Canton's victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for Jackson-Milton, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.
