Football Game Preview: Warren County Wildcats vs. Brentsville District Tigers

Warren County hasn't had much luck against Brentsville District recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wildcats will face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Warren County has given up an average of 36.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Warren County managed to slip by Meridian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats had to suffer through a 56-14 loss at the hands of the Mustangs.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Brentsville District and Skyline, and Skyline kept the tradition alive. The Tigers took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost three in a row.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Brentsville District, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Warren County was dealt a bruising 42-7 defeat at the hands of Brentsville District in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 28-7.
