Volleyball Recap: West Ranch Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

West Ranch saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawaii Baptist Academy Eagles.

West Ranch never let Hawaii Baptist Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 28-26.

Noah Douphner paced West Ranch's offense, picking up 13 kills. Douphner got some help from Jackson Manansala and his 20 assists. Douphner was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

West Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Hawaii Baptist Academy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

West Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Westview on the 22nd. As for Hawaii Baptist Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Louis at 6:30 p.m.
