After a string of eight wins, Porter-Gaud's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Wando Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.

Porter-Gaud's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Wando, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-8 record this season.

Porter-Gaud has already played their next match (against Hilton Head Island), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wando, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Musselman on the 10th.
