Basketball Game Preview: Clarksville Indians vs. Riceville Wildcats

Clarksville is 2-8 against Riceville since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Indians will venture away from home to take on the Wildcats at 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Clarksville took a blow against Nashua-Plainfield, falling 66-23.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Riceville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They escaped with a win on Friday against Tripoli by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since January 28th.

Clarksville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Riceville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Clarksville couldn't quite finish off Riceville in their previous meeting back in January and fell 72-69. Can the Indians avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
