If Lassen wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played University Prep, they should've done a better job of containing Maya Tabarez. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grizzlies on Tuesday for which the team can thank Tabarez, who had 13 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times she's played.

While University Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-22.

University Prep has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Lassen, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-12.
