Baseball Recap: Onaga Takes a Loss

Onaga fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Wabaunsee on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 13-12. The Buffaloes' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Dylan Magnett led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times he's played. Maddex Honas was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Onaga's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Wabaunsee, their record is now 10-11.
