Basketball Recap: Hamilton Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Hamilton came up into this matchup off a tough 25-point defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Quincy Trojans by a score of 61-59 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Braves have suffered since December 2, 2024.

Several Braves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Case Porter, who posted 24 points. With that strong performance, Porter is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Strong, who scored 18 points along with six boards and four steals.

Hamilton's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10. As for Quincy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Hamilton will be playing in front of their home fans against Maxwell at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Maxwell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Quincy has already played their next contest (against Biggs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
