Basketball Recap: Davidson Gets the Win

Davidson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 58-50 win over the Picayune Maroon Tide on Saturday.

Ja'Lyjawon 'JuJu' Edwards was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Cole, who posted six points.

Picayune's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Davidson will head out to challenge McGill-Toolen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Picayune, they will host St. Martin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
