Basketball Recap: Lakeridge Comes Up Short

Lakeridge lost against Oregon City back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lakeridge Pacers took a blow against the Oregon City Pioneers, falling 67-34. The Pacers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Lakeridge's record now sits at 5-12. As for Oregon City, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeridge will venture away from home to face off against Tigard at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lakeridge is facing Tigard at the right time seeing as Tigard is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Oregon City, they will head out to challenge Tualatin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tualatin will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Oregon City surely won't give up without a fight.
