            Softball Recap: Trinity Raiders vs. Hancock County Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            Trinity has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.2  runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit  on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hancock County Hornets by a score of  10-9. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing  5-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hancock County, their win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 1-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will welcome Apollo  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Hancock County, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against McLean County  at 6:00  p.m. McLean County has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.5  runs per game on average), something Hancock County will no doubt try to take advantage of.
