Soccer Recap: Valor Christian Comes Up Short

Valor Christian's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Colorado Academy Mustangs by a score of 1-0. Valor Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Colorado Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Valor Christian was without their leading scorer, Josh Hazlett, in Friday's match. With Hazlett sidelined, Gio Natale got his first action of the season.

Valor Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Colorado Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valor Christian will welcome Cherokee Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colorado Academy, they will face off against Kent Denver at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
