Basketball Recap: Haralson County Rebels vs. Armuchee Indians
Haralson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 63-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Armuchee Indians.
Armuchee can attribute much of their success to Trenton Cothran, who went 8 for 13 en route to 28 points plus two steals. Another player making a difference was Colton McBurnett, who had 13 points along with two steals.
Haralson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haralson County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Heard County at 7:30 p.m. on December 3rd. As for Armuchee, they will take on Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
