Basketball Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Milton Red Hawks, falling 66-45. The contest marked the Goslings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Milton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

Watertown and Milton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Watertown (ranked 279th) will meet Waunakee (ranked 13th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Milton will take on Fort Atkinson at 7:15 p.m. on Friday down 61 places (92 vs. 31).
