Basketball Recap: Windsor Locks Comes Up Short

Windsor Locks suffered their biggest loss since February 3, 2025 on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Ellington Knights, falling 101-52. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 107th, while the Knights are ranked ninth).

With the defeat, Windsor Locks broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6. As for Ellington, their record now sits at 11-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor Locks will square off against East Granby at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Ellington, they will challenge Old Lyme at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.
