Softball Recap: Hayward Farmers vs. Tennyson Lancers

There's no place like home for Hayward, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Tennyson Lancers on Friday as Hayward made off with a 14-5 win. The Farmers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Riley Norman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Norman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
