Volleyball Recap: Concordia Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

If Mercy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Concordia, they should've done a better job of containing Kyra McNair. The Mustangs came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to McNair, who had 17 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Concordia easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Concordia pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Mercy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Concordia has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Roncalli Catholic on the 16th. As for Mercy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Conestoga on the 18th.
