Briar Woods is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Falcons who were credited with the win. Briar Woods got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to Riverside's four. The victory continues a trend for Briar Woods in their matchups with Riverside: they've now won three in a row.

Briar Woods' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6-2. As for Riverbend, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3.
