Baseball Recap: Monday's Win Is Tyler's Third in Last Four Outings

The Tyler Knights earned a 5-1 victory over the Oak Glen Golden Bears on Monday.

The team relied heavily on Nate Deaton, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Boggs, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

Tyler is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Oak Glen, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-14.
