A well-balanced attack led Sevier County over Gatlinburg-Pittman in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Sevier County Smoky Bears blew the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders out of the water with an 81-53 final score. The Smoky Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Gatlinburg-Pittman still got an impressive performance from Wade Whaley, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 14 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Another player making a difference was Craig Huskey, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points and six boards.

Sevier County is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points over those games. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their loss dropped their record down to 20-7.

Sevier County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 75-50 win against Cocke County on the 11th. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-54 victory against Seymour on the 11th.
