Football Game Preview: Greene Central Rams vs. Beddingfield Bruins + How To Watch

The Greene Central Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Beddingfield Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Greene Central and six for Beddingfield.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Greene Central and Farmville Central, and Farmville Central kept the tradition alive. The Rams fell 29-23 to the Jaguars on Friday.

Greene Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Trey Bynum and JoJo Sanders. Another thorn in Farmville Central's side was Nick Avent, who made 21 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, Beddingfield played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 61-8 defeat at the hands of Kinston. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-8.

Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Greene Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Greene Central strolled past Beddingfield in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a score of 38-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
