Basketball Recap: International School of Boston Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for International School of Boston, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over the Marie Philip Galloping Ghosts on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for International School of Boston: when they faced off against Marie Philip two weeks ago, they had to take a 70-53 defeat.

When it comes to explaining why Marie Philip lost, don't look at Xavier DeLeon. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 39 points and 11 boards. DeLeon's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Riebe, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

The win got International School of Boston back to even at 1-1. As for Marie Philip, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-7.

International School of Boston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marie Philip, they will challenge Waring at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
