Baseball Recap: Bradford Prep Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bradford Prep's offense. They came up short against the Community School of Davidson Spartans on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Bradford Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Nelms, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Nelms has hit this season.

Bradford Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Community School of Davidson, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Looking ahead, Community School of Davidson will venture away from home to take on Mountain Island Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bradford Prep will be paying especially close attention to the Spartans' game: after the Spartans face off against the Raptors, they'll take on Bradford Prep again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
