The Racine Horlick Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Franklin 80-27. Racine Horlick has struggled against Franklin recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Leading Franklin to victory were Brenna Nichols and Rachael Jepsen. Nichols scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Jepsen scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Lauren Capstran, who scored 13 points along with three steals.

Racine Horlick's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.0 points per game. As for Franklin, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
