Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is West Lauderdale's Third in Last Four Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Lauderdale had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Kosciusko Whippets a 3-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

West Lauderdale is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four contests. As for Kosciusko, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12-1.

West Lauderdale will challenge North Pontotoc on Saturday. North Pontotoc will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something West Lauderdale surely won't give up without a fight. Kosciusko does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
