Red Level had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. Everything went their way against Elba as they made off with an 11-3 win. Red Level might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Connor Blackwell was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jonathan Nolen was incredible, scoring a run while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Hodges, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Red Level kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elba only managed three hits.

Red Level's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Elba, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Red Level will have a chance to go back-to-back against Elba: the pair will be back at it again later today.
