Soccer Game Preview: Granby vs. Denbigh

The Granby Comets will face off against the Denbigh Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Denbigh took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Granby, who comes in off a win.

Granby's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Norcom 3-0. Granby haven't had any issues with Norcom recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Granby hit Norcom with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caleb Jordan, T Roy Martin, and Farid Jimenez.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Denbigh was not quite Gloucester's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the Dukes. The defeat continues a trend for Denbigh in their meetings with Gloucester: they've now lost seven in a row.

Granby's victory bumped their record up to 2-3-1. As for Denbigh, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
