Baseball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Cameron

11 must be Cameron's lucky number: they beat Breckenridge with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Dragons beat the Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Haydn Aitchison looked comfortable as he tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Emmett Potts and Tyler Erwin did most of the damage at the plate: Potts went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Erwin went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those four RBI gave Potts a new career-high. Carter Flick was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Cameron's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Breckenridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Cameron will challenge Lexington at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Dragons are facing the Minutemen at the right time seeing as the Minutemen are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Breckenridge, they will venture away from home to take on Lawson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
