Softball Recap: Cedarcrest Takes a Loss

Cedarcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Mount Si Wildcats, falling 19-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in March.

Paityn Craig was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Maddie Davis was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Cedarcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Mount Si, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Cedarcrest has already played their next game, a 28-3 win against Hazen on the 9th. As for Mount Si, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 11-7 loss against North Creek on the 9th.
