Softball Recap: Watertown Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Watertown's offense. They fell just short of the DeKalb County Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Purple Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Watertown's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for DeKalb County, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Coming up, Watertown will square off against Livingston Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. DeKalb County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
