Basketball Recap: Bowie Drops Highest Score of Season Against Harmony School of Innovation

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowie). They blew past the Harmony School of Innovation Wolves 89-24 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Johan Camacho was his usual excellent self, going 12 for 20 en route to 29 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. The match was his 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Oscar Munoz, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Bowie was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harmony School of Innovation only posted two assists.

Despite the loss, Harmony School of Innovation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Angel Valle posted six points.

Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points per game. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Bowie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-41 win against Irvin on the 21st. As for Harmony School of Innovation, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-33 defeat against Austin on the 17th.
