Softball Recap: Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Has No Trouble Against Glencoe-Silver Lake

Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted hadn't done well against Glencoe-Silver Lake recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lakers blew past the Panthers 13-0. The Lakers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rykel Krzmarzick and Izzy Morress did most of the damage at the plate: Krzmarzick scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Morress scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Krzmarzick a new career-high. Anna Smith was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-3.
