Basketball Recap: Stayton Starts Season with Win on the Road

Stayton had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They slipped by the Junction City Tigers 55-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Stayton will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Molalla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Junction City, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-41 loss against Philomath on the 7th.
