Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Columbia's offense. They lost 16-0 to the Mid-Carolina Rebels on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Capitals in their meetings with the Rebels: they've now lost five in a row.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will square off against Richland Northeast at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Capitals will need to watch out since the Cavaliers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Mid-Carolina, they will face off against Chapin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
