Baseball Recap: North Iberville Comes Up Short

North Iberville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 24-3 to the Port Allen Pelicans.

Javonta Thomas was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That hit was his first of the season.

North Iberville's record is now 0-9-1. As for Port Allen, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 16-9.

Coming up, North Iberville will face off against Ascension Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Allen, they will take on St. Helena College and Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
