Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smith-Cotton). They put the hurt on the Helias Crusaders with a sharp 15-6 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Smith-Cotton got a massive performance out of Karson Wiskur, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Cooper Woolery was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Smith-Cotton's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Helias, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Smith-Cotton will have a chance to go back-to-back against Helias: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
