Baseball Recap: Worthington Kilbourne Takes a Loss

Worthington Kilbourne suffered their biggest loss since May 4, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 14-3 to the Big Walnut Golden Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Hawthorne Kitay made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Jacob Caviness also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Worthington Kilbourne's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Big Walnut, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
