Softball Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Freedom's offense. They fell just short of the Tracy Bulldogs by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Freedom got a good showing from Riley Moon, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Moon has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Freedom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ruby Cuen Camacho, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Freedom now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tracy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

We've got a battle between Falcons coming up. As for Tracy, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against West at 4:00 p.m. Tracy is facing West at the right time seeing as West is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
