Baseball Recap: Desert Takes a Loss

Desert lost against Rosamond back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Scorpions came up short against the Roadrunners, falling 18-10. The Scorpions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Desert saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Terndrup, who scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-5. Landon Kizzer also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Desert's record now sits at 4-7. As for Rosamond, they moved to 5-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Desert will take on Boron at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rosamond, they will square off against Lone Pine at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Roadrunners surely won't give up without a fight.
