Recap: Bloomer Blackhawks vs. Cadott Hornets
Even though the Bloomer Blackhawks have not done well against the Cadott Hornets recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Bloomer came out on top against Cadott by a score of 54-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bloomer.
Several Hornets players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Danielle Sikora, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Emma Kowalczyk, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Bloomer's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Cadott, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomer will take on Regis at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Regis presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bloomer in Wisconsin (Regis is ranked 21st, while Bloomer is ranked 192nd). Cadott's road trip will continue as they head out to face Thorp at 7:15 p.m. on December 8th.
