Volleyball Recap: Harvest Christian Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Harvest Christian dropped to 4-4 on Tuesday, ending the team's seven-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Edinburg North Cougars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Harvest Christian has suffered since November 5, 2024.

As for Edinburg North, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Edinburg North's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylin Dominguez led the charge by getting 12 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Dominguez has posted since back in October of 2024. Krystah Garcia was another key player, getting nine digs, four aces, and one block.

Coming up, Harvest Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Lopez at 9:00 a.m. on the 29th. As for Edinburg North, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Juarez-Lincoln at 2:00 p.m.
